With the recent weather police are reminding motorists to slow down.
South Simcoe Police received a number of complaints during Thursday’s (jan 10) snowy weather about drivers who were not at all deterred by the icy road conditions.
Officers set up speed enforcement in Bradford and Innisfil and handed out 24 speeding tickets.
One of those drivers with a lead foot was behind the wheel of a school vehicle, on 8th Line in BWG.
The driver was clocked doing 78km/h in a 50 zone.
That’s a $135 ticket.
