A trio of bus collisions in South Simcoe this morning.
South Simcoe Police and Innisfil Fire crews were called after two vehicle collision involving a school bus and pickup truck on the 5th Sideroad and 4th Line in Innisfil just after8:am this morning (sep 12).
Police say 15 high school students were onboard the bus.
All were taken to hospital, 2 with serious injuries and a third had to be airlifted to a trauma centre in Toronto.
Nottawasaga OPP say two more school bus collisions occurred including one at County Road 56 and the 5th Line in Essa and one at Tottenham Road at Douglas Drive in Alliston..
The Alliston collision involved an empty bus and a pick up truck.
OPP say the black pick up struck the side of the bus, the driver got out and had a brief chat and then truck driver took off before the cops arrived.
Police are now looking for the driver of the pick-up truck who described as female, in her mid 50’s, black shoulder length hair, and slight build.
The black pick-up truck will probably have damage to the right side of the vehicle.
There was a three vehicle collision, involving a school bus, on County Road 56, at the 5th Sideroad of Essa Township.
OPP say the charged the school bus driver with careless driving after the bus, with one passenger on board, pulled in front of an oncoming pick up.
There was fog at the time of the collision and no one was injured
