The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has placed beaches 2, 3, 4, and 5 at Innisfil Beach Park under a swim advisory.
The beaches are not closed at this time but swimmers are warned the water contains levels of bacteria that could lead to the development of minor skin, eye, ear, nose and throat infections and if swallowed, stomach disorders.
You can still choose to swim at this time but it is best to avoid swallowing the water or dunking your head under.
Testing is done at least once a week and results can be found on the Health Unit website.
