Innisfil, ON – As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Innisfil Town Hall (located at 2101 Innisfil Beach Rd.) will close to the public at the end of the day and stay closed until Monday, April 6, 2020. Despite this, residents can still get full Customer Service support during normal business hours at 705-436-3710 and through our numerous digital channels at https://innisfil.ca/contactus/.
“Working with our partners across all levels of government and especially the medical authorities, this is another important step for us to be taking to do our part to contain the spread of COVID-19. While our Town Hall and facilities may be closed, we are doing everything we can to make sure we continue to deliver as many services as possible,” said Innisfil Mayor Lynn Dollin. “It’s also important for residents to be aware that Fire & Rescue Services, South Simcoe Police and Water and Wastewater services will continue as normal. In addition, our Emergency Management team is activated and will continue to the monitor the situation as our staff continues to work remotely.”
Residents who are concerned about making payments in person are encouraged to reach out to Customer Service at 705-436-3710 to discuss alternate payment methods. Staff are exploring financial options for Council to consider in response to this situation (e.g. tax due date deferral). More information will be available in the near future. Staff are also prioritizing workload given the shifting needs of the community. As a result, overnight parking enforcement will not occur at this time unless required by a major winter storm for snow clearing purposes. In addition, all mail sent to Innisfil Town Hall, including cheques, will still be received and processed by staff until further notice.
