
A plan to redevelop Simcoe Manor in Beeton into what they are calling a leading long term care and seniors services campus has been approved Simcoe County Council.
Over 20 acres of property was purchased in April of this year next to the current facility, for expansion.
The campus redevelopment will provide a 160 bed long term care home, which includes 34 new beds, and more than 170 seniors housing units or homes.
The total cost of the project is expected to be $177 million.
Resident are expected to be able to move in between late 2023 and early 2024.
