The Essa Fire Department is looking to do some recruitments for new volunteer firefighters.
Those interested in applying must be willing to live close to the Thornton station, which is located on County Road 21.
New recruits must also be willing to maintain the equipment and fire department facilities.
Fire Chief Cynthia Ross Tustin says experience is not necessary.

Attending training sessions is mandatory and those hoping to secure a position must have a clean driving record and background.
Applications must be in by July 13.
