Alliston’s 12th Night Tree Burning is not happening this year due to gathering restrictions.
Alliston Rotary Club canceled all their public events this year.
Club member, Dave Green says it’s the first time in their history this has happened.

The County of Simcoe is collecting natural Christmas trees placed at the curb throughout the month of January.
Trees must be out by 7am on the Monday of your garbage collection week.
All decorations must be removed and if the tree is taller than 2 metres or 6 feet, you are asked to cut it into smaller pieces.
