Taking the bus is something many students do everyday on their way and from school each day.
Sometimes traffic chaos and weather can leave those buses running late or cancel them altogether.
John Barbato is the CEO and General Manager at the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium.
He says the Bus Planner Delays App made available to parents this past September is helping with when to get out the door, if at all.
The App is available for both Apple and Android users and can be set to general notifications or to bus route specific.
