Police are investigating a fire that claimed one life at a campground early this (dec8) morning.
Nottawasaga OPP and New Tecumseth Fire Rescue responded to a call around 4:30 for a house trailer engulfed in flames located at the Rolling Acres Campground.
The fire was extinguished and contained to one unit, limiting damage to surrounding properties.
Police say the body of one person was discovered.
The identification of the person is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
The Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office has been notified.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
