The province has announced funding that will allow for an addition to be built at an Alliston elementary school.
Simcoe-Grey MPP Brian Saunderson announced the province will provide the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board with $3.3-million.
The funds will be used to create 49 new licensed spaces and three classrooms at St. Paul’s Catholic School
The investment is part of the province’s overall plan to spent approximately $15 billion over the next decade to build new schools, and repair current facilities.
A timeline was not provided for the expansion.
