NEW TECUMSETH, ON – The Town of New Tecumseth welcomes Neil Garbe as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO).
Neil will join the Town effective June 3, 2024.
With more than 25 years of experience in municipal and regional levels of government, his significant leadership experience will be an asset to New Tecumseth.
“We are excited to have Neil join us. The extensive knowledge, experience, and leadership that he will bring to our organization will be beneficial to our growing community,” said Mayor Richard Norcross.
Garbe has a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and is a Registered Professional Planner.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Town of New Tecumseth team. I look forward to working with Council and leading staff as we work together to make New Tecumseth an even better place to live, visit and do business in,” Neil said.
He previously served as the CAO in both Richmond Hill and Aurora and most recently held the position of Commissioner, Community Development for the Town of Oakville.
