The Town of Innisfil is hosting its annual Pitch-In Day this Saturday (may11) beginning at 9 in the morning.
This year, the community-wide event joins the Great Global Cleanup…. a movement driven by EARTHDAY.ORG to reduce plastic pollution.
Community members are invited to take part in this town-wide clean-up by collecting litter from the edge of roads, public trails and parks.
Clean up kits are available at Innisfil Fire Stations 1 and 2 or you can pick them up on the day of the event.
A free BBQ will be held at Centennial Park (2870 7th Line) between 12 to 1:30 p.m, as a thank you to the volunteers for their assistance.
