Gateway Casinos could be on the move after their lease expires.
The gaming company hopes to build a new facility where the Innisfil Creek Golf Club is situated.
The golf Course announced its immediate and permanent closure on February 10… Due to the South Innisfil Creek Drain Construction Project.
Gateway purchased 25 acres of land on the golf course site, and has requested a Ministerial Zoning Order (MZO) be filed by the Town of Innisfil.
The site is a short move from their current location at Georgian Downs off of Innisfil Beach Road to Highway 400 and 89, across from the Tanger Outlet Mall.
The Georgian Downs race track would not be affected by a move.
