Residents looking for sleek modern furniture will be able to visit IKEA’s larger Plan and Order location in Barrie.
The Swedish Company has moved from the Georgian Mall on Bayfield Street in the city’s north end, to a location with over 5000 square feet on Mapleview Dr. in the south.
The Plan and Point format enables customers to look and touch a variety of items… but they do not warehouse the furniture on site..
Those wishing to make a purchase can order the item and it will be shipped to their house.
The grand opening is being held Friday (jun28).
