
Police are appealing for witnesses after shots were fired at a home in Markham.
On Friday, June 28, at approximately 4:30 a.m. York Regional Police responded to a residence in the area of Featherstone Avenue and Highglen Avenue for the sounds of gunshots.
When they arrived, officers found a home that had been struck by multiple bullets.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Video surveillance from the area showed a white, four-door sedan driving slowly in the area moments before the shooting.
A suspect was seen approaching on foot and discharging a firearm at the targeted residence.
The suspect returned to the vehicle and left the area.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and have not yet spoken to police.
Investigators are also seeking any video surveillance from the area or anyone who may have captured dashcam video of roadways in the area.
