Members of the OPP are now the best-paid police in the province.
A new four-year deal makes them the highest-paid police officers in Ontario.
The Ontario Provincial Police Association, which represents close to 10,000 members, says it ratified a new collective agreement that gives the officers the best
compensation among all Ontario police services.
The average starting salary for an OPP Officer is over $123,000… Which is 30% above the national average.
