The Beeton Memorial Arena is set to have some repairs done.
The Town of New Tecumseth is bringing in a temporary portable refrigeration unit, to keep the ice frozen while crews work on the permanent equipment.
The portable unit will ensure there is no disruption in service.
It’s expected to arrive on Monday (sept23).
Once the repairs are complete, the permanent cooling equipment will be fired up and the portable unit will be removed.
No time line has been announced for a repair completion date.
