An Angus resident is set to stand trial for a crash that killed a Barrie Mother and injured four others in Melancthon Township in 2023.
The incident involved a transport truck slamming into a line of vehicles in a construction zone.
The crash claimed the life of 31-year-old Alexandra Paul, a new mother, Olympian and lawyer, while her 10-month-old son survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Truck Driver faces charges of dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm.
He is out on bail and is scheduled to return to court next week.
