Public Works Week takes place from May 18th to 24th with a lineup of fun and educational events for the whole family.
This year’s theme, “People. Purpose. Presence.”, highlights the vital but often unseen work public works staff do every day to support our communities.
Events include a behind-the-scenes tour of the Brendan Holly Wastewater Treatment Facility on May 22nd and the popular Touch-a-Truck event at Alliston Memorial Arena on May 23rd.
Visitors can also learn about our local water sources, enjoy family-friendly activities, and help support local food banks through the Public Works Week donation drive.
