South Simcoe Police are reminding residents about the rules for off-road vehicles following a rise in related service calls.
ATVs are allowed on certain roads, but only under specific conditions:
The rider must have at least a G2 licence, wear an approved helmet, use headlights and taillights, and not ride between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
ATVs must also be insured and display a valid Ontario licence plate.
