Construction begins at Innisfil Beach Park this week, marking the start of its major revitalization effort.
Phase 1 includes a new park exit, a pedestrian and cycling trail, modern washrooms, a toddler playground, volleyball courts, and expanded beach areas.
Mayor Lynn Dollin says the upgrades reflect years of planning and public input, with a focus on better access and recreation for the community.
The Town says the park will stay open during the work, though certain areas will temporarily close for public safety.
