An update on the fire that broke out on the roof of the Innisfil Recreational Complex early this week:
No injuries were reported, but parts of the building—specifically in the north-west corner—sustained damage from both the fire and firefighting efforts.
The complex remains closed as officials assess the extent of the damage.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, Town staff are working to relocate programs and issue refunds where necessary.
