Town Council is taking steps to address parking challenges in downtown Tottenham, with the purchase of six properties near Queen and Mill Street.
The move aims to expand and improve parking options, including upgrades to the existing lot at that intersection.
Queen and Mill will also see planned intersection upgrades this summer, at that time some on-street parking will be reduced.
Mayor Norcross called the initiative a “smart, interim solution”, with a public consultation scheduled for next year to help shape a long-term plan.
