Residents in and around Oro-Medonte are advised that members of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM) will be in the area conducting training exercises from Sunday, June 8th to Wednesday, June 11th.
During this period, the public may notice an increased presence of military vehicles, specialized equipment, and both uniformed and non-uniformed personnel. These exercises are part of CANSOFCOM’s ongoing commitment to developing adaptable, highly trained forces capable of responding to a range of national and international missions.
Training in real, unfamiliar environments like Oro-Medonte is essential for preparing personnel to operate effectively in diverse conditions.
