Town of Innisfil sign
The Town of Innisfil has announced the phased reopening of the Innisfil Recreational Complex (IRC) following the fire incident that temporarily closed the facility on May 12th.
After weeks of extensive restoration, cleaning, and safety inspections, the IRC will partially reopen to the public on Monday, June 9th, beginning with ice rentals and all registered and drop-in ice programs.
The Innisfil YMCA will follow suit, reopening on Wednesday, June 11th with access to the conditioning floor, studio, indoor track, change rooms, and multi-purpose room for Stay’n Play; however, the gymnasium will remain closed until July 7th, pending the completion of floor repairs and repainting.
The pool will stay closed while critical operating equipment is repaired. A reopening date will be announced once those timelines are confirmed. YMCA members will receive direct communication about service availability and next steps.
