Nottawasaga OPP is investigating a distraction theft that took place around 12:00 p.m. June 1st at Zehrs in Alliston.
Police say two male suspects allegedly stole a senior’s wallet while he was shopping, taking personal ID and financial items.
Investigators believe the incident is linked to a larger pattern of organized distraction thefts targeting vulnerable individuals across the region.
Authorities are urging residents to stay alert, particularly in busy public places, and to report any suspicious activity immediately.
The OPP released the following suspect details:
Suspect 1: Wearing a black baseball cap, surgical mask, grey sweater, white T-shirt, black pants, and black shoes with a white base.
Suspect 2: Wearing a Black baseball cap, a black puffer jacket, black pants, and black, red and white sneakers.
