The Town of New Tecumseth has issued a total ban on all open-air burning, due to dry conditions and increased fire risk.
The ban prohibits all open-air burning, even if you have a burn permit – including fireworks, cooking fires, and any barbecue devices fueled by coal, charcoal, wood, or woodchips.
The ban will stay in place until further notice.
