At the recent council meeting, the Town successfully met all requirements under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act, showing it’s ready to handle emergencies and keep residents safe.
Council approved extra funding of just over $52,000 for the Recreation and Culture Master Plan.
This money will help support the Town’s plans for parks, recreation, and community programs.
The Town also mentioned they will be taking action in response to speeding issues on Pridham Place in Tottenham.
A radar speed sign will be installed, and staff will come back with more ideas to improve safety.
