Police have arrested and charged a woman from Scarborough following a fraud investigation in Alliston.
On Tuesday afternoon, staff at a bank on King Street North, suspected a customer was trying to open an account using fake documents.
It was determined she was using fraudulent ID’s and social insurance cards, and had multiple pieces of identification that did not belong to her.
Multiple charges were laid, the investigation remains ongoing.
