Residents near CFB Borden may hear loud noises over the coming weeks, as members of the Canadian Armed Forces conduct controlled detonations as part of ammunition disposal training.
The exercises run weekdays from September 10th to October 27th, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with up to 12 detonations per day.
The training is part of the Ammunition Technician course, preparing soldiers to safely handle and dispose of misfired or obsolete ammunition.
