The artistry of local craftsmanship will be on full display at the Simcoe County Museum this September, as artisans’ guilds showcase their finest work at the Quilt, Rug and Artisan Fair.
Running from Friday, September 19th to Sunday, September 21st, the event invites visitors to witness traditional crafts such as embroidery, quilting, spinning, weaving, lacemaking, rug hooking, pottery, and more.
Guests can browse the bustling merchants’ market for essential supplies, while also purchasing one-of-a-kind handmade creations crafted by local guild artisans. Beyond the fair itself, visitors are encouraged to enjoy a walk through the museum’s scenic grounds, featuring heritage buildings and artifacts from across Simcoe County.
The event runs daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Simcoe County Museum, located at 1151 ON-26 in Minesing.
Special event admission applies:
- $10 for adults
- $8 for seniors and youth
- $5 for children
- free entry for preschoolers and museum members
