A Bradford business owner has been charged by the OPP following the theft of bleacher benches from an Orangeville park earlier this month.
Police say the benches were reported stolen and later discovered at a local scrap yard the following day. Following their investigation, officers arrested a 53-year-old man on Tuesday, September 23rd.
He is charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and trafficking in property obtained by crime. The accused was released on an undertaking and is set to appear in court next month.
Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the OPP.
