Town of Innisfil sign
Residents in Innisfil will still be able to manage accounts and payments despite the Canada Post strike.
The Town says it is committed to reducing the impact of the labour disruption and is encouraging residents and businesses to use alternate methods to avoid delays, late fees, or service interruptions.
Property tax accounts can be managed online, where residents can sign up for eBilling, set up pre-authorized payments, and access tax information. Payments are accepted through online or telephone banking, a third-party service, or in person at Town Hall with cash, cheque, or debit. An after-hours drop box is also available for cheque payments at the Town Hall entrance. Parking tickets and camera-based infractions can be paid online or in person as noted on the ticket.
The Town’s eServices platform also provides access to permits, renewals, and requests including burn permits, marriage ceremonies, dog tags, and road permits. Building and development applications continue to be accepted and paid online through Cloudpermit.
Town account holders may not receive bills by mail on time, but accounts must remain up to date to avoid penalties. For assistance, residents can contact the Town of Innisfil at 705-436-3710, toll-free at 1-888-436-3710, or by emailing Customer Service at inquiry@innisfil.ca.
The Town says it will continue to monitor the strike and share updates.
