The Alliston Hornets had a back-to-back-to-back this past weekend, and they came out on top.
On Friday, October 17th, the Hornets went to Penetang to take on the Kings. David Harvey, Payton Palbiski, Mark Coish, and Cameron Lamont all scored for Alliston to help get the 4-1 win. Riley Arts was in net for the game, stopping 24 of 25 shots for the .960 save percentage.
The team then hit the road again for a road game against the Innisfil Spartans on Saturday, October 18th. This time, Alliston got goals from Jacob Jackson, Nick Lamont, Noah Larmon, Duncan Grube, Ben Smith, and two from David Harvey. Anthony Lovisa was in net for the Hornets, stopping 30 of 32 shots for the .937% save percentage and 7-2 win.
They weren’t done there, as next up was another road match-up on Sunday, October 19th, this time against the Muskoka Bears. A pair of goals from Will Millington, as well as Ben Smith, Jax Bellwood, Nick Lamont, and Noah Larmon gave the Hornets a 6-1 win. Arts was back in net for Alliston, stopping 19 of 20 shots for the .950% save percentage.
Alliston will have the work week off before they hit the ice again. They’re at home against the Innisfil Spartans on Friday, October 24th. Game time at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre is set for 7:30 p.m. Ticket details are available here.
