With colder weather setting in, the County of Simcoe is expanding warming centre services across the region to ensure unhoused individuals and families have safe places to stay this winter.
The initiative, part of the County’s winter response strategy, began November 1st and will continue to grow as new locations open and receive local approvals.
Barrie
- The Busby Centre – 90 Mulcaster St (Opening Date Coming Soon)

Orillia

The County says the goal is to achieve full daily activation, including 24/7 bedded services, to ensure no one is left outside in freezing conditions.
