The Town of New Tecumseth is bringing back its Toys for Tickets campaign this weekend.
From Friday, November 14th to Friday, November 28th, residents are able to pay eligible parking fines by donating a new, unwrapped toy of equal or greater value. Donations must be made in person at Town Hall, located at 24 Tupper Street West in Alliston, during business hours.
Innisfil is running a similar campaign.
Last year’s program collected 110 toys and one gift card to support local families. This year’s toys will go to Lions Clubs Christmas Hamper and My Sister’s Place.
