Stevenson Memorial Hospital has closing part of its upper parking lot this week as construction moves ahead on a new lot at the front of the property.
A section of the central upper lot will be blocked off for curbing and site preparation. Visitor parking will continue in both upper and lower lots, and several spots near the Ambulance Bay will be designated for visitors during the closure. Accessible parking will remain near the main entrance, and additional public parking is available along Fletcher Crescent.
The hospital is asking visitors and staff to allow extra time for parking.
Expect the new lot to be completed by the end of the year.
