A 37-year-old Essa resident is facing impaired driving charges after Nottawasaga OPP responded to a single-vehicle crash last weekend.
Late on Friday, November 21st, officers were called to the 3rd Line north of 5th Sideroad shortly before midnight, where they found a vehicle in the ditch and formed grounds that the driver was impaired by alcohol.
The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries, later released, and transported to the Nottawasaga Detachment. They have been charged with:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
They are set to appear in court in Bradford on December 11th.
