Nottawasaga OPP are investigating the theft of a pickup truck taken from a residential driveway in Essa Township last week.
Police were called at around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 27th after a black 2024 RAM 1500 was reported stolen from a home on North Ridge Road in Thornton. Investigators say the owner was inside when the $70,000 truck, with Ontario licence plate BN 56962, was driven away around 3:00 a.m. Officers canvassed the area but found no surveillance footage and no suspect description is available.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may possess relevant video surveillance footage to come forward.
