A pickup truck valued at nearly $80,000 was stolen from a New Tecumseth driveway last week, prompting an investigation by the Nottawasaga OPP.
Police say officers were called to a home on Atkinson Crescent around 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3rd after the homeowner discovered their white 2023 RAM 1500 pickup truck missing. Investigators believe the theft occurred just after 2:15 a.m., when video surveillance captured a black GMC 1500 arriving in the area and two suspects getting out. One suspect approached the front door while the other entered the RAM parked in the driveway, and both vehicles left the neighbourhood within minutes.
The stolen truck, bearing Ontario licence plate BW 84050, is valued at roughly $78,000.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have relevant video surveillance footage to contact the Nottawasaga OPP at 1-888-310-1122, quoting Report #(E251626304).
