A 52-year-old Niagara Falls resident is facing multiple charges after an alleged attempt to fraudulently obtain a new luxury SUV from a local dealership.
Nottawasaga OPP say officers were called to Trillium Ford in Alliston on Tuesday, February 10th after a suspect allegedly attempted to pick up a brand-new 2026 Lincoln Navigator using fraudulent identification and a credit card. Police attended the dealership and arrested the suspect without incident.
The accused has been charged with:
- Fraud Over $5,000
- Theft Over $5,000 (Motor Vehicle)
- Identity Fraud
- Use of Forged Documents (x2)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance
The investigation is ongoing.
