
Emergency crews responded to a residential fire in Alliston yesterday morning that sent one person to hospital.
On Thursday, February 12th, shortly before 8:30 a.m., officers with the Nottawasaga OPP and members of the New Tecumseth Fire Department were called to a home on Renaissance Point. One individual was located inside the residence and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
Police say there are no concerns for public safety at this time.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Nottawasaga OPP, with assistance from the Office of the Fire Marshal.
