The Town of New Tecumseth has announced the start of a design project for major road improvements in Beeton.
The project will focus on Prospect Street and Tecumseth Street. Planned improvements include a complete roadway rebuild, upgraded drainage, improved sidewalks and active transportation infrastructure, and municipal servicing upgrades.
It’s expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
During the design phase, crews will be on-site conducting road and feature surveys, roadway boreholes, and boundary surveys. Officials say no property disturbance is expected while this work takes place.
