The Alliston Hornets are going for the North Carruthers Division title, and they’re off to a good start!
Game #1 of the finals match-up against the Stayner Siskins took place on Thursday, March 19th at the Stayner Memorial Arena.
Alliston’s offence took control of the game early on, with Nick Lamont scoring twice. They’d also get goals from Gunner Kirk, Mark Coish, Hunter Martell, and Tristen Pitt. That made it a 6-1 victory for the Hornets.
Riley Arts was in net for Alliston, stopping 35 of 36 shots, giving him a .972% save percentage and the win.
Game #2 is scheduled for Friday, March 20th at the New Tecumseth Recreation Centre. Puck drop will be just after 7:30 p.m. Ticket details can be found here.
