The South Simcoe Police Service and the Bradford West Gwillimbury/Innisfil Police Service Board have released a new strategic plan aimed at guiding policing priorities over the next four years.
The 2026–2029 Strategic Plan outlines a roadmap focused on strengthening community safety and well-being across Bradford West Gwillimbury and Innisfil. It was developed through consultations with residents, community partners, and municipal leaders to reflect local priorities and future challenges.
At the centre of the plan is the vision “People Focused. Community Driven. Future Ready,” alongside a mission to promote safety through public protection, law enforcement, and strong community partnerships. Core values identified in the plan include integrity, trust, leadership, accountability, courage, and compassion.
Officials say the plan is designed to remain flexible as communities grow and policing needs evolve, with an emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
Police leadership adds that community safety is a shared responsibility, with the strategy intended to strengthen relationships, support victims, and build trust between officers and the public.
