Registration is now open for a program aimed at helping aspiring entrepreneurs across Simcoe County launch their own businesses.
The Town of Innisfil’s Economic Development Office has announced the return of the DMZ Innisfil Launchpad, an annual initiative designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and connections needed to build a business. The program, delivered through the Town’s DMZ Innisfil business accelerator, begins May 6th and runs until June 17th through a combination of virtual and in-person sessions.
“Programs like DMZ Innisfil Launchpad are key to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in our community,” says Mayor Lynn Dollin. “By continuing to invest in aspiring entrepreneur, we’re helping turn great ideas into successful businesses and strengthening Innisfil’s local economy for years to come.”
“Starting a business can be complex, but having the right guidance and network makes all the difference,” adds Jelmer Stegink, Economic Development Project Manager. “DMZ Innisfil Launchpad provides participants with the tools, connections, and confidence they need to take that first step and build something meaningful.”
Participants will gain access to more than 80 online lessons, three virtual workshops focused on key startup concepts, and three in-person networking meetups with mentors and local entrepreneurs. Upon completion, participants will also be introduced to additional support programs and resources to help grow their ventures.
