Police are continuing to search for a suspect following a stabbing in Barrie that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Barrie Police say 28-year-old Adam Myshak is wanted in connection with the incident, which happened just after midnight on Saturday, April 11th near Anne Street North and Donald Street.
A 43-year-old man was found at the scene suffering from serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital before being airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where he remains.
Myshak is facing charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and aggravated assault.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and are asking anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts not to approach him, but to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
