Police are asking for the public’s help following an act of vandalism at a religious property in Innisfil.
Officers were called to the area of Innisfil Beach Road and Willard Avenue on Friday, April 10th, at around 3:45 p.m. for reports of property damage. Investigators later determined the incident occurred earlier that day, at about 10:45 a.m., when a lone suspect used spray paint to damage the property.
South Simcoe Police have obtained video footage and released images of the suspect as they continue their investigation.
The suspect is described as:
- white
- male
- between 50 and 60 years old
- grey beard
- wearing a black baseball cap, a grey jacket with Canadian and American flags on the left chest, black pants and brown boots
Investigators say the suspect was driving a black Volkswagen Beetle with silver spoked rims and a rear spoiler.
The investigation remains ongoing.
