Police are asking for the public’s help after a high-value theft at a market in Innisfil.
South Simcoe Police Service say officers responded around 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 3rd to a report that a vendor had been robbed in the parking lot of the 400 Market on Industrial Park Road.
Investigators say six suspects arrived in a light-coloured van and stole approximately $300,000 worth of merchandise. The suspect vehicle, identified as a blue 2008 Toyota Sienna, was later found parked nearby at Innisfil Beach Road and Industrial Park Road.
The suspects are described as wearing dark clothing, hats, and blue medical masks.
Investigators say the incident appears to be isolated, with no ongoing risk to public safety, but the case remains under active investigation.
Anyone with information, or dashcam or surveillance footage from the area between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. that day, is asked to contact South Simcoe Police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
