Barrie Police are investigating an early morning assault that sent a 34-year-old man to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers were called to an address on Mary Street just before 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5th, after reports of an injured man.
Paramedics transported the Barrie man to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators then searched the surrounding area, leading officers to a residence on Maple Avenue where three individuals were detained. All three were later released unconditionally.
According to Barrie Police, the victim has since been released from hospital but has not cooperated with investigators. Police believe the incident was isolated and involved people known to each other.
